Abby Kowitz is a mental health counselor with Novare Counseling Center in St. Paul, MN. She graduated with an MS in Counseling from Divine Mercy University in Arlington, VA, and places an emphasis on working with spiritual integration, adults and adolescents, trauma, women's issues, and grief and loss. Abby received her undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, with degrees in accounting and Catholic Studies. After college, she spent two years serving as a missionary with Christ in the City in Denver, CO. During that year Abby worked with those experiencing homelessness as well as women in crisis pregnancy situations. In working with these populations, Abby experienced the healing power of Christ’s light in even the darkest of places and felt the Lord calling her to a lifelong ministry of sharing his hope, healing, and reconciliation. Energized by mission, her passions include traveling, spending time with her family, and continually deepening her relationship with the Lord through the beautiful outdoors and good conversation.
